A DYNAMIC SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR with high functioning capabilities , VANI SUKUMAR founded and developed INTEGRATED SYSTEMS with a vision of Inclusion and Integration in society single handedly since 1997.

EXPERIENCE :

Post 13 years of service with an NGO in Chennai , she emerged as a Dynamic Social Entrepreneur and founded INTEGRATED SYSTEMS in December 1997. She has won an award for 10 years of dedicated service by Vidya Sagar ( An NGO in Chennai ). She has presently to her credit 32 years of solid experience in promoting healthy, and socially effective programs for the public through HR Consultancy ,Counseling, and the Enabling Programs .She has successfully designed , and implemented accurate and customized programs for the corporate sector with ease

Has conducted a number of Workshops for Teachers , Parents and School Children.

The Teacher’s workshops have been addressing the issue of ‘NON BRANDING PSYCHOLOGY’ of the Teachers , as well as ‘UNDERSTANDING THE CORE CHILD PSYCHOLOGY’ in the classroom . The Parents workshops have addressed a lot of issues regarding ‘DICIPLINE’ as verses ‘SELF DEVELOPMENT ‘ and orientation towards ORGANIZATIONAL STANDARDS AND MODELS in Schooling Practices .All our Workshops for Students have been addressing issues of Empowerment , and Self Development

Many Training Programs in Colleges have been conducted for Teachers addressing ‘STUDENT PSYCHOLOGY’

Being a HR Consultant to CORPORATES, she became CEO of ‘PRAPATI’ in 2010, with a vision to support and build the Corporate Sector for Mr. G.V.SUKUMARA , who had as many as 13 Innovations / New products on hand . Her support has given a lot of impetus to the organization to culminate the process patent into an empowering and practically usable product , boosting the Companies Capabilities . This has supported the Company to demonstrate and establish the credibility of NON EXISTING INNOVATIONS, CREATING A NEW Market reach for the innovations of PRAPATI

COUNSELING SECTOR :

Many programs have been conducted by INTEGRATED SYSTEMS for schools and colleges .

College level programs in ‘TRANSITION ‘ , where the workshop focuses on College Campus to workplace have been rendered to Engineering Colleges and Arts and Science Colleges .
Many Teenagers have taken appointments in reaching out for Counseling services for various issues !
Presently more than 85 schools have referred children to us, and Many have also invited us to conduct Teacher Training programs and Parent Training Programs other than the students Workshops .

  • Conducted ‘RHYTHM’ – a summer camp’ for 53 children in Trivandrum in April ‘08, and was covered by the media extensively ( Inclusive Camp )
  • Is a consultant to more than 85 regular schools in chennai
  •  Is a faculty for the ‘counseling module’ for NGO”S
  • Customized, designed & executed project ‘excellence’ for parents, teachers & students of DAV Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram
  • Presentation on ‘UNDERSTANDING STUDENT PSYCHOLOGY’ AT SRM ENGINEERING COLLEGE
  • Provides counseling services, conducts assessments & gives guidance to children / parents & teachers from many regular schools (based on
    referrals)
  • Facilitated programs for 10th and 12th STD Students on ‘STRESS IN ADOLESCENCE’

ENABLING SECTOR :

Working with young adults with special needs to empower them and enable them to integrate in a workplace with clarity. From the year 2000 we have worked in enabling people with mental issues to integrate themselves comfortably in the workplace by constant and consistent Training / Counseling Services. We have also encouraged them to become entrepreneurs!

SPECIAL PROJECT : OFFICER ON SPECIAL DUTY

Completely took responsibility and executed a CUSTOMIZED BUILDING PROJECT as Officer on Special Duty,( for people with special needs ) for a CIVIL project costing 1.5 Crores in 1996.
Her research in the enabling program division is presently waiting to Launch products that are socially effective, useful and empower humanity with dignity and inclusion Training programs offered to school / college dropouts for a period of one year !

  •  Has done qualitative training for more than 300 young adults with “disabilities” and provided job opportunities
  • Provides skill development through the “enabling” programs with online behavioral training & education focused individual education plan
  • DANIDA HEALTH CARE PROJECT on ‘capacity building’ for the WOMEN LEADERS OF SALEM DIST.
  • SIAAP ON ‘UNDERSTANDING MBTI TYPES’
  • ‘RASA’ ON ‘ EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS’
  • We offer counseling services for those with Mental Health issues to reinstate them back to work . Presently Phychiatrists refer Many educated
    adults who have dropped out of work to us for this service

So far our statistics are that 70% of those Trained under our EP Division have got and sustained employment for a period of 4 to 5 years after our Training

Product and R & D Division :

  • Presently trying to set up an R&D unit for specialized products for people with special needs and geriatric care
  • Work is in progress for a product developed with GPRS Technology for the visually impaired. This is a social project like a dream for me. Detroit University has supported us and we have made the first prototype. Now, work is in progress for further development and we are presently trying to complete this project at the earliest . Lack of Funds has stopped further progress on this product

  •  Presented a paper on ‘ENABLING PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL INCLUSION’ at thRichmond Fellowship conference at Nimhans, Bangalore in November ‘08
  • Conducted a SUMMER CAMP CALLED ‘RHYTHM – UNDERSTANDING THE MUSIC OF RELATIONSHIPS’ for children aged 2 – 18 at Trivandrum for 21 days
