Feedback on the Interactive Session
A very informative session. Very systematic presentation. Gave us a clear idea about the kinds of problems faced in the classroom by putting it under the heads Academics, Behaviour and Other problems.
Teachers were made to understand how to recognise students who had problems, identify their problems and how to deal with them. Giving us the idea about Visual and Auditory perceptions with concrete examples made us aware of the problems in perception which earlier we had no idea abou. How to handle children who had behavioural problems gave the teachers a better idea as to how these children should be tackled – rewarding and motivating them.
The role of parents and teachers in inculcating good behaviour in the children was well defined. A child needs emotional, physical and social support and how this could be achieved was explained very clearly.
Altogether this session was an eye opener and all those who attended it have benefited immensely. I am sure it will help greatly in improving the teaching – learning process and the Teacher – student relationship.
